Lag Designs Update Group

RL is picking up again.  Good for my wallet, but sadly the cause of more slow down for the store.

I am happy to say that most of the posters have been reworked.  All of them are not updated, of course.  I’ll be working on those gradually.  If you find a hair kit you liked is not shown in the store, most likely I have pulled it.  Just drop an IM, and I will be happy to locate it.  I may put these removed kits back in, when I have another chance to spend the time on it, but right now I realize that I need to focus on new items!

Lag Designs Update GroupWe have again debated the notion of an update group.  I do realize that group space is limited, and so update groups are in a way a luxury.  I will be sending out notices and demos through it (as well as the little extras I tend to cook up for no real reason).  Regardless, I’m still testing the water on the idea.  Especially the group v/s in-world “subscribing” systems.  I haven’t yet found a group join “Button” that I particularly like, so have only a rather messy join sign at the store.  I am not entirely happy that one must open chat history to have access to the link, but it is a bit easier than having to manually locate it!

The group Lag Designs Update Group can be found through search and group, and joined from there.  Open enrollment, of course.

Once the Second Life site has caught up, I will be adding a link to this site to the group join there.

NEWld

The moving is done – we have settled into our new locationservonewhome

An official “opening” is on the way.  We will be releasing new items at that time, and one specifically for this occasion.

Landmarks are still being updated on XStreet, but most in-world references should have been reset by now.  If you find one that has not been changed, please let us know.

While at the store, be sure to check out the surrounding area.  The SkyBeam Muse shopping plaza has many shops filled with varying items made by talented creators.

emptyOLDLdAs for our old location, it was a bit saddening to see the old store cleaned out!  We will be leaving the build up a little longer, for rerouting.  So far, though, the transition seems to be going smoothly.

Many thanks and best wishes to all of the neighbors there – and to the vigilant SkyBeam Guardians of the sandbox!

Tom & I

Chipping away some stones, and levelling a few beams, work was begun on the new location.   I know:  very behind schedule!

A lot has happened while I was away!  SL traffic calculations have changed, the XStreet forum is being nixed, and I’ve gotten behind on my work.

Despite these adjustments being made to XStreet, Lag Designs is always accessible either through the SLurls or the HTTP link to this page.  As for traffic, I am always happy to see adjustments that more accurately reflect real customers.  I had hoped to have the new landmarks shifted over before this went into effect, but it seems I am still running behind.

Taking a little break, and picking up a few textures from the store, I was reminded that Tom Servo needs a new seat.

Or, is it Thomas Serveaux?  😉
